Welcome

Community Integrated Medicine was established in 1995 as CIMSA – Community Integrated Medical Student Association – to provide basic health screenings and preventive education to the medically underserved population of Lansing, Michigan. CIMSA began serving the community by providing intermittent health care screening tests and health education at county fairs and community centers. CIM now has evolved into an organization where members help to educate the public on various health issues and provide continual health care counseling and disease prevention services that cross all ages, ethnic groups and gender.  In 2007, CIM became the service organization of MSUCOM.  CIM offers opportunities for students to volunteer at  Ingham County Sparrow Clinic (Friendship Clinic), Cristo Rey, PATCH, community health fairs, and flu shot clinics.
